Social Media is a hate fest. The idea of “truthing” (outing inconvenient truths to the world, questioning) has become an exercise in “raging and hating”. Our puppet masters are loving it - how easily we are controlled and siloed that way, it’s phenomenal. Great essay - thank you.

You’re spot on—‘truthing’ has morphed into just another tool for division. It’s wild how easily we’re manipulated. Thanks for the thoughtful comment

Its called integrity. Can you be true to what has real worth? Can you be comfortable in your own skin? (Metaphoricaly speaking) Are you comfortable naked? Are you good with speaking your mind?

Integrity, it's priceless.

It’s rare and powerful when someone can truly sit with themselves—no masks, no noise. That’s where the real stuff begins.

A conspiracy theorist, truth teller, bullshit flag waver, a truth seeker.... Admit when I'm wrong, kind of a badge of honor in a world that doesn't know what fiction is anymore.

Now that’s the kind of badge worth wearing. Owning your shit and calling it out—rare combo these days. Respect.

There’s an old line about how opinions are like assholes: everybody has one and they all stink. Most social media just proves the truth of that.

So many great points. Thank you for this. I was nodding along to a lot of what you stated. Makes me think of this quote: “You," he said, "are a terribly real thing in a terribly false world, and that, I believe, is why you are in so much pain.”

Ah never thought of that. At 79 yrs young it is what it is. LOL Still think your posts while very interesting drag on to long to keep the attention of many readers. Our voters in Canada and United States are not known for their powers in either subject.

Absolutism is certainly a problem. Conceding aspects of a problem and embracing nuance and of course having divergent opinions that leave you tribally homeless. There's heaps of examples and I love it when they disagree. You know I'm not an antisemite but those Jews sure are assholes sometimes... And they wonder why they get hate?
